Research of our Chair

We are all bothered by the public health crisis, the climate crisis, and the staggering inequality worldwide, to name a few. 

We, at the Department, strongly feel that businesses are paramount to finding solutions for these grand sustainability challenges. To do so, businesses change responsibly. They transform their products, their processes, and their business models, and sometimes they have to adapt their mission and vision, too. Individual firms cannot transform or innovate successfully on their own. They do so together with other businesses, embedded in a system with other actors such as customers, research and education institutions, associations, citizens, or the government.

The Department's research focuses on these systemic foundations for corporate transformation processes, emphasizing innovation and sustainability.
