Madeleine joined our team in October 2021 as a research associate and program coordinator of the International Business and Economics study course.
Her research focus lies within the field of international competition and firms’ strategic adaption, especially with regards to their innovation behavior. In line with her research interests, Madeleine is part of our current research project CHINNOCOM.
Madeleine studied International Business Administration (B.A.) at the Wiesbaden Business School. As part of her bachelor’s studies, Madeleine spent a year abroad studying Business Administration at EDHEC Business School in Nice (France) and completing an internship in business development in Leeds (England). Madeleine completed her master’s degree in International Business and Economics (M.Sc.) at the University of Hohenheim. During her master’s degree Madeleine also participated in the Marketing and Management Excellence Circle of the University of Hohenheim. In her thesis she investigated the effect of increasing international competition on corporate strategy and innovation.
During her studies, Madeleine gained research experience working as a student assistant at our chair, as well as practical experience by completing internships in business development, marketing, and management.
